Fashion’s Night Out is a global initiative, sponsored by Vogue magazine and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). The first event began in 2009 in New York City. Fashion’s Night Out began as a means to encourage consumers to shop and support the fashion industry during the tough economic climate. A lot of stores in the city feature in-store promotions and entertainment throughout the evening (6pm-11pm).

Lane Bryant has been offering plus-sized women clothing since the early 1900’s. The store was originally just a go-to for maternity clothing, but has evolved into the number one clothing getaway for the full figured women of today.
