Los Angeles emcee Timothy Rhyme returns with the new track “Immortal.” The song was released as part of Rhyme’s support for fellow First Dirt representative and close friend Nay the Producer. Nay is currently in the hospital fighting lupus.
“Immortal serves as a message not only to those who are battling with disease, but for everyone who is battling something,” says Rhyme. “The obstacles I’ve overcome only push me to produce music that can touch people in a lasting way, so that they can’t forget me even when I’m not around. That’s who Nay was.”
Timothy Rhyme is scheduled to perform at the SXSW Festival on March 19. His set is part of the Declaration of Independents Tour Showcase.
