A$AP Rocky is celebrating his birthday on October 3. To honor the Harlem emcee’s 29th year of life, Courvoisier brand ambassador Zahra Bates created an exclusive, one-of-a-kind cognac cocktail titled “Long Live A$AP”.

Earlier this year, Courvoisier tapped Rocky to take part in its Honor Your Code ad campaign. Shaped by the company’s 200 years of crafting premium cognac, Honor Your Code celebrates influences, lessons learned, and personal convictions.

Long Live A$AP Recipe

  • 2 parts Courvoisier® VSOP Cognac
  • ¼ part Earl Grey Syrup*
  • 2 dashes Lemon Bitters

Preparation: Build all ingredients in an old-fashioned glass. Add ice. Stir. Garnish with a grapefruit swath. *To make the Earl Grey simple syrup, make Earl Grey tea, then add super fine sugar for a 1:1 ratio.
