The city of Las Vegas suffered a tragic mass shooting overnight when a gunman open fired on a crowd of concertgoers. As of press time, at least 58 people were killed and more than 500 people were wounded.
Celebrities, politicians, and citizens from around the world have expressed condolences for the victims and their loved ones. MTV used the premiere of the TRL reboot to address the horrific attack as well.
Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and Hip Hop personality DJ Khaled were present on the broadcast to stand in solidarity with a grieving nation. TRL co-hosts, DC Young Fly and Tamara Dhia, urged their teenage viewers to get more information on how to help prevent gun violence in their communities by visiting everytown.org/act.
