After introducing himself with the “Share Your Love” and “Do Better” singles in 2016, TRACES releases his debut EP Heart Of Gold. The project is the first chapter in a three-part series.
Heart Of Gold blends Indie-Pop, R&B, and Hip Hop. TRACES frontman Tim Dehnert reflects on the apprehension and anxiety he felt following his relocation from San Diego to Los Angeles.
Each track on the EP focuses on the optimism experienced in overcoming an overwhelming transition in his adult life: “Trouble in Mind” on overcoming others assumptions, “Majesty” on gaining control of your life, “Black Cadillac pt. 1” on isolation, and “Haunted” on coming to the realization we are all helpless but not hopeless.
