Chauncey “Hit-Boy” Hollis is the production mind behind Jay-Z & Kanye West’s “Niggas In Paris,” Kendrick Lamar’s “Backseat Freestyle,” Beyoncé’s “XO,” and other popular records. The istandard music coalition is set to recognize the Half-A-Mil member for his contributions to pop culture.
istandard’s Beat Camp LA will feature Hit-Boy being honored with the “Influence Award.” Shawn Barron, Atlantic Records Assistant to Vice President of A&R, will also receive an “Influence Award” at the weekend retreat.
The Los Angeles event is expected to draw representatives from Atlantic, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, Rostrum Records, and other labels. In addition, attendees get the chance to witness panels with Dem Jointz, AnonXmous, Sak Pase, Karl Rubin, Dae One, Young Fyre, Chizzy Stephens, V12 The Hitman, Krunkadelic, and more.
