The second season of the Netflix series Stranger Things takes place the same year the original Ghostbusters movie hit theaters. So it’s fitting that Mike, Will, Lucas, and Dustin chose to dress up as the characters from the 1984 classic for Halloween.

It also comes as no surprise that Stranger Things producers connected with the official Ghostbusters branding company Ghost Corps for the program’s storyline. The collaboration also sparked Sony Pictures Consumer Products, Reebok, and BAIT to join forces for limited edition Reebok Ex-O-Fit Hi Clean models with exclusive Ghostbusters inspired designs.

“80s nostalgia is running at a fever pitch, and excitement and fondness for the classic Ghostbusters seems to grow every year,” says Ghostbusters director and Ghost Corps partner Ivan Reitman. “It makes total sense that in the fall of 1984, Dustin and his friends would be nuts for Ghostbusters.”

Jamie Stevens, EVP Sony Pictures Worldwide Consumer Products, adds, “We’re thrilled to have collaborated with the Stranger Things team and are so excited to team with Reebok and BAIT to make Dustin’s customized Ex-O-Fit Hi a reality.”

The sneakers are being first released exclusively at BAIT retailers worldwide, and then later at premium sneaker stores including Reebok stores in Japan and online, colette in Paris, Mita and Atmos in Tokyo, Kasina in Korea, Juice in Hong Kong, and Undefeated stores everywhere.
