Brooklyn-based producer/vocalist ellen o partnered with Harlem rapper Smoke DZA for a new collaboration. The classically trained pianist uses an MPC and Roland Juno-106 to craft her tunes.

“ellen has a fresh vibe that I feel needs to be heard,” says Smoke DZA about his Babygrande Records labelmate.

More of the world will get to hear the electronic music creator on her forthcoming You/Sonata album due out on November 17. Besides DZA, the project also features Khallee and Shraf. Acclaimed producer and Low End Theory founder Daddy Kev is mastering the LP.
