NBA All-Star weekend is taking over Los Angeles in February. Hometown rap sensation YG is looking to intensify the fun in the city with his first annual “The Boogie” festival.
4Hunnid, Goldenvoice, and True Religion partnered with YG to present the two-part event. The Daytime Boogie will kick off at 11 am on February 17, while The Nighttime Boogie’s concert will begin at 7 pm.
The parking lot area of The Shrine Expo Hall is the setting for the Teyana Taylor and Fatboy SSE hosted 3×3 Celebrity Basketball Tournament. Player-coaches YG, Belly, Syd, Nipsey Hussle, DJ Mustard, and Famous Dex will be part of the game.
Plus, the Daytime Boogie includes a Pop Up Shop, 4Hunnid’s Low-Rider Merch Shop, Xbox Gamer Tournaments, food trucks, a tattoo booth with LA-Based artist Tat2nene, and the official “Boogie Area.” The Nighttime Boogie will continue inside The Shrine Expo Hall for performances from YG, DJ Mustard, Lil Pump, and special guests.
