Hip Hop artist Alim Kamara lets go of his new EP The Great Man. The London-based performer uses the voice of Tanzanian percussionist Saidi Kanda as the backdrop for the stories on the project. The tales and images presented on The Great Man reflect real life experiences captured by Kamara.
“[I’m] going through different emotions and journeys in life. Some my own and some of others,” states Kamara about The Great Man.
The 11-track EP follows 2012’s Reciting Rainbows. It includes the single “Let’s Get Lost” featuring vocalist Sharlene Hector, the introspective cut “Life I Live”, and the title track “The Great Man” featuring Khalid.
