While independent minded artists like Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko, Big Scoob, and Mac Lethal have been leading the charge for K.C. Hip Hop, Jay-Rel is now set to carry the indie torch for the Midwest city.
The Distant Dreams Music member has already built a local buzz with his Highly Underrated and Figure 8 mixtapes. Next Jay’s teaming up with producer Mike Hurst for the 8:16 Pm album. The duo is giving listeners a taste of what to expect on that project by first dropping the 5-track EP 8:16 Am.
