Crackle is debuting its sci-fi thriller In the Cloud next month. The movie will be released on February 6 through the Crackle app on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita systems before premiering on the Sony Network’s streaming platform beginning February 8.

Set in the near future, the main story of In the Cloud takes place after dozens of people are killed in a series of attacks. Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence come into play as two estranged geniuses must work together to create technology capable of invading a terrorist’s memories.

Robert Scott Wildes (Poor Boy) directed the flick, and Vanya Asher wrote the screenplay.  The cast includes Nora Arnezeder (Safe House), Gabriel Byrne (Usual Suspects), Justin Chatwin (Shameless), Tomiwa Edun (Bates Motel), and Laura Fraser (Breaking Bad).
