Most Americans likely know Jussie Smollett as the character Jamal Lyon on Empire. However, the 35-year-old entertainer is also a professional musician outside of the Fox drama.
Smollett’s Sum Of My Music album is scheduled for a March 2 release. He starts the rollout of the LP by releasing a music video for “Freedom” which stars Southside with You actress Tika Sumpter and Tony Award winner Cynthia Erivo.
