Reach Records artist Andy Mineo is back with his latest project. The 7-track digital EP Never Land features appearances by Marz, Kam Parker, Dimitri McDowell, KB, Canon, and Marty of Social Club. The collection also includes production from Grammy award winners Alex Medina, JR, and Joseph Prielozny.
“The 116 movement is growing and the mainstream Hip Hop community is taking notice,” states Mineo. “I’m going to keep creating until we help change the way people see the world. Never Land is the music of a movement.”
Never Land is the follow-up to Mineo’s 2013 album Heroes For Sale which featured fellow faith-based emcees Lecrea and Trip Lee. The LP debuted in the Top 20 on the Billboard 200, the Top 10 on the Rap Albums Chart, and hit #1 on the Christian Album Chart.
“All throughout high school it was really difficult to follow Jesus without having any community,” says the T.R.U.C.E. affiliate. “In college, I got away from the situation I was in. God put me there and he put me around a bunch of people that loved God, people that looked like me and talked like me. They were into Hip Hop like I was and it was really a blessing to meet some of these guys.”
