Hometown: Ridgewood, New Jersey

Description: Originally formed in Bruce Springsteen’s home state and now located in the hipster capital of Brooklyn, Alex Bleeker, Matt Mondanile, Martin Courtney, Jackson Pollis, and Matt Kallman have rock running through their veins. Add the fact that critics love them, and you have a formula for a great American band.

Description:  The singer-songwriter received his early musical training as a student at Youth Music Theatre UK and as an apprentice to jazz performer Joanna Eden. He got his big break as a guest feature on Disclosure’s “Latch” and Naughty Boy’s “La La La”, but he officially steps out on his own with his upcoming In the Lonely Hour LP.

Description: The young femcee is next in line to represent for the buzzing Chitown indie Hip Hop scene. Her appearance on Maybach Music Group rapper Rockie Fresh’s Electric Highway led to features in major music blogs, and eventually she connected with noted DJ/producer Diplo to lace her with the tracks for “Damn” and “Out The Bottle”.

Their brilliance is the ability to update the style for a new generation and successfully tread the line between art and commerce.
